BRITNEY SPEARS is so protective over her baby son SEAN PRESTON, she will only let her own mother LYNNE hold him.
Lynne joined her daughters, JAMIE LYNN, Britney and son-in-law KEVIN FEDERLINE at the launch of Britney's father JAMIE's poker computer programme in Las Vegas, Nevada, over the weekend (07-08JAN06).
Lynne, 50, says, "She's really picky. She's doesn't let just anybody hold Sean, but she lets me."
The matriarch also lashed out at reports Britney and Federline's marriage was on the rocks, saying, "She's very happy. Kevin does change diapers. I'm very close to him."
Britney adds, "He's (Sean) so happy. He laughs all the time."

Oh so when she is shown out shoppin and bar hopping without him-is he laying in his crib alone at home? Not-the nannies/nurses hold him. They are so full of shit. I'm sure everybody and their grandma held that baby when he was born....

Oh, come on. Moms need nights out too. When I had my first, I went out three weeks later to a party, simply because after nine months of being pregnant and 21 straight days of feeding, I needed to put on my figurative dancing shoes and remember I was not just a mulch cow. I was gone for a few hours and guess what...the kid barely remembers me not being there.

I am a firm believer in time away for parents-not just mothers but fathers, too. I just meant that this made it sound like only Britney, K Fed or Moma Lynn got to hold the baby...never meant it to sound like I was puttin her down for time away-

What?? Those are two totally different things! What new mother do you know that would let 'just anybody' hold their newborn?
This isn't exactly breaking news!
