Nick Lachey blames Jessica's irrational thinking on breaking up of marriage

JESSICA SIMPSON's estranged husband NICK LACHEY blames his wife's irrational thinking for their marriage breakdown.

The former 98 DEGREES star, who split from Simpson two months ago (NOV05), believes women and men have very different thought processes.

He says, "Women argue in ways that aren't rational to men."

Lachey also found buying clothes a size too big for his beloved scuppered their chances of marital bliss, adding, "They don't take kindly to that."

Um, WHAT? Is he serious? "Here honey, I bought this a little bigger
for when you get fat." It's a wonder he doesn't have clawmarks

I think he's playing it quite well; he's telling silly little anecdotes that we already know, or making himself a sensitive new man. He's not slagged her off, or done anything in particular to make her look bad. Slight contrast to the rumours put out about him in the days following the announcement....

^^ He's totally playing. I really liked him on their show. He seems like a nice Midwest kind of guy but he's not without fault. I love that he's getting the upper hand with PappaJoe. It's almost too bad Jessica is caught in the middle. She never struck me as malicious or anything. My guess is she's been around her dad too long.

She's not smart enough to be malicious. I think if she's as lead around by her dad as it seems, the fight is just between Nick and PapaJoe, she's just the vacuous dolly in the background.

He can be quite the tantrum thrower. Anyone see the Newlyweds episode when he tries to ski, falls once, throws the ski poles, one bounces back and hits him in the head then he storms of back to their chalet. I felt bad for Jessica, only time though.
