Brad Pitt told court he WILL marry Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt has reportedly told a US court he wants to marry Angelina Jolie - refuelling rumours the pair are ready to tie the knot.

The heartthrob actor recently moved to officially adopt Angelina's children, Maddox and Zahara - and allegedly had to assure the courts he was planning to marry their mother.

US lawyer Evan Schaeffer is quoted in Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "Under American law, adoption is a profound and significant act. It normally doesn't take place unless there's already been a marriage. Thus it's reasonable to infer that a marriage is around the corner for Brad and Angelina."

A source close to the couple said: "Brad would have been happy to give those assurances to the courts as he feels he has the perfect ready-made family."

cant people in hollywood just date a while ya know, stand back and take time to assess whether the relationship will go the distance? instead of meeting , going out for 3 weeks then getting married for a few months then have to get divorced ?!? nutters, the lot of them!

It is riduculous the way celebrities get married. Its like they are making a mockery of the whole thing. They don't take it seriously. They just feel it is the thing to do when you start dating another famous person.

Just look at Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, Kimberly Stewart etc. They get engaged like its going out of style. The likes of J Ho and Angelina are the same, just older, so instead of doing the young thing and getting engaged, they jump straight in at the deep end and get married!!

Blech. I just don't get it. I really don't. They just seem SOOOO mismatched to me! If they were just fuck buddies, that'd make sense. But in love?? Poor little Angelina Jolie, all fucked in the head. The problem with her is: she's really a gay man, and she falls for only the straighties.

yeah, they talk about brad and angie, jen talks about herself just to keep up. the other day she even talked about santa claus. I'm telling, this woman is running out of things to talk about.
