Tom Puts Stop To Katie's Midnight Madness
There was no big New Year's bash for Katie Holmes this year - Tom Cruise saw to that. The War of the Worlds star was apparently horrified that his pregnant wife-to-be was planning to meet up with friends to see in 2006 and put down his superstar-sized foot. "It wasn't a party, it was just a few of her old girlfriends getting together but Tom was having none of it," reports our insider. "He's become very protective of her since she's been pregnant and his idea of protection doesn't include her going out on New Year's Eve. Katie was happy about it so in the end Tom arranged for all her pals to be picked up and brought over to their place - but there was no alcohol and everyone was out by 12.30."

For the love of God! This dear girl has no idea what hell awaits her.
I'm convinced to this day that Tom dumped Nicole because she got too wise for him. Better career, one upping him. He'd have none of that. I don't doubt he forbid her from taking on roles he KNEW would make her a blockbuster name so that she didn't make him look bad. She went ahead and did it anyway and that was the end of her!

I was thinking the same thing about the ice-skating. She has also complained of being tired because of all the traveling. However one night out after 12:00 would not be good for her??
