Woody Allen meets his double

Hollywood director WOODY ALLEN came face to face with his double during a recent visit to Spain.

The ANNIE HALL film-maker visited a bronze statue of himself, which was erected in the city of Oviedo in 2003, with his wife SOON-YI and daughters BECHET and MANZIE TIO - but he was disappointed to find the glasses were broken.

He says, "I did notice however that on my statue my glasses were broken.

"I don't know if that was because someone was excited and pulled them off or someone was angry with me and broke the glasses off, I don't know.

"But I'm sure the Mayor and the Chamber of Commerce will fix my glasses for the next time that I come."
