Tennis ace MARIA SHARAPOVA is so proud of her new perfume, it's the only scent she wears.
The former Wimbledon champ created the new fragrance from scratch, even testing it with laboratory technicians and she admits she was a hard task master.
She says, "You go in and you test so many fragrances and you get samples and you send them back and you keep trying until you feel very comfortable with the smell... It was really fun."
You can have a fragrance customized and in your name by Creed fragrances (a fave of mine, get it at Neiman's). The downside to this is that there is an 18 month waiting list, and Oliver Creed charges $25,000 for this service.
I was always under the impression that celebs don't wear their own signature perfumes, that if mere mortals will be wearing it then they want nothing to do with it, that it was just more publicity and marketing for their 'brand'
If Maria Sharapova breaks that mould then good on her
