Ashanti demands a discount

She was walkin up and down the aisle talking loud on her pink razor phone. my boss and i were the only ones in the store. She bought 2 hair curlers both 170.00 each. a bunch of hair clips, head wraps, nail polish, celephone fake jewels, handfuls amount of jewerly, over 20 shirts, bunch of hats etc.. by the register we have a pen that is in the shape of a middle finger. it says a bunch of curses. she bought 2 and said she'd give them to her parents when they're fighting. as i rang up her stuff, she was on the phone. of course, i listened. she was talking about gettin her father some sean john clothing for xmas. she told whoever it was "try to get it free. if thats is really not possible. i guess i'll just pay wholesale" cheap bitch. her stuff rang up to about over 900 dollars. my boss is from africa so he really didnt know who she was. she told him. not asked told. "put the discount on there" he said "what discount?" she went on about how her makeup artist frequents our store and she has a discount card. thats true, but only makeup artist get it. so he tried to explain it to her and she just gave him her phone. so he was talking to her makeup artist and she just went on and on about how she should get one. he gave her a new shirt, we just recieved. a thermal wonder woman shirt. she said 'i dont want your 6 dollar shirt. i want a discount" he corrected her and said "that shirt is 32.99" and she put it in her bag anyway. she continued to go on and on. he told her "anyone can come in here and say they're someone & demand a discount. i didnt even recognize you until she said something. (meaning me)" she got mad and said "yeah well not everyone does what i do". he said he didn't wanna argue, his neice was a fan so he'll do it. she asked him to call his neice and she'll speak to her. he did and she spoke to the girl for about 2 minutes. she said she'd sign something for her and asked my name & signed a flyer for me. he asked her if she's ever visited africa and she said no but "ja" was there as we spoke. the best part was he started to talk to her about the singer, akon. asking if she knew him & he went on about how hes a fan to her. she just smiled and laughed. she paid in an American Express Platinum card. her stuff came out with the discount to 632 and some change. she was pretty friendly and upbeat til that discount crap. when she left my boss said "she wanted us to think she was rich. she probably thinks she's rich. but shes not rich. you know how i know? her amex is not black. only rich people have that" lol imagine that in an african accent.

He shouldn't have given her the discount, just for the principle.

I know that the label shes on is in financial trouble seeing that they can't launder money anymore, and she doesn't sell a lot of records so I do believe she's going broke

yea she seems irritating as hell. i saw her on punked and i was like booooo! she cant sing. if it wasnt for the fack that she did the whole crew over there i doubt she would have had records out

I agree....she really has no talent. Her vocabulary is about as expansive as a balloon with a massive hole in it.

Plus she looks like an ant, wears way too much makeup, and is trying to be Beyonce.
