SPEARS PAYS TRIBUTE TO TROOPS


Pop star BRITNEY SPEARS has sent her annual Christmas message to fans, appealing for Americans to remember US troops fighting in Iraq over the festive season.

The TOXIC star and her husband KEVIN FEDERLINE are spending their first Christmas together as parents to baby SEAN PRESTON and have invited Spears' mother LYNNE and sister JAMIE LYNN to their Malibu, California, mansion for Christmas.

In a letter to fans, Spears says, "I just wanted to write a short note thanking you all for your continued love and support. I have been blessed with so much this year, I hope each of you gets everything you wish for and more importantly are able to spend time with your family and loved ones.

"We are spending Christmas at my house and I am so excited for my Mom and JAMIE LYNN to get here.

"Please remember to keep all our brave troops, who are away from home, in your hearts and prayers too."

Why didn't she invite the troops to her house to spend Christmas as well? They would gladly and for free get rid of KFed for her. And who knows, maybe Brit may find a new hubby out of those wonderful fellas! AND a new great friend out of one of those brave gals.
