Actress Jennifer Aniston plans to become a mother "within the next year".
The former Friends beauty is dating her The Break Up co-star Vince Vaughn after divorcing Hollywood heart-throb Brad Pitt in October (05). And while Pitt is the process of adopting girlfriend Angelina Jolie's children Maddox and Zahara Marley, Aniston declares she wants an offspring of her own.
She says, "I hope to be on the road to having a family in the next year. I've said this before and I desperately don't want to repeat myself, but I just like being in a partnership."

Jen never wanted kids and probably doesn't now (not really). Stirring up all this crap about it now is only making her look like a jackass IMO. What she wants is to turn back time before her husband left her...because with as much as she was supposedly never *ready* to breed, I'm betting if she had it to do over again after everything that's happened to her marriage and knowing what she does now she'd have at least popped one out. It's not like *Friends* couldn't have worked it into the script or filmed around it. The other two had kids during this time frame, she could have done it too. And if there's any truth at all to this *now* longing to be a mommy/start a family shit it's because she knows that's probably what drove a huge wedge between her and the husband. Too little, too late, honey! If she gets knocked up by boozehound Vince just to prove something to herself, her ex and the rest of the world...or heck, even if it's an *accident*...it'll be beyond pathetic. I'd respect her more if she just admitted she didn't want kids. There's no shame in that. It just makes her look a little like a dumbass for hitching up with and wanting a future with a guy who made no secret about wanting kids. For all we know, who's to say when she talks about wanting/starting a family she's not talking about just getting married again?

Ummm, Shirley, like I've mentioned before, Jen "Ooooh, I'm so pathetic I need more attention" Aniston can certainly choose to not answer any questions she finds intrusive. Problem is, Jen seems to love just blabbering on and on about her sad self. Oh, and Shirley, you just took the opportunity to speak about Jen so should we slug you for not leaving her alone? Y'know what really sucks for her? Even if that weren't the reason, at this point everyone would still think so. I really think the other poster who wrote about the *girl next door* image including wanting kids one day was on the money. She's always struck me as neurotic about how she is perceived anyway. I personally have at least two friends who are totally *girl next door* types, who are happily married but childless by choice. I hate the way the majority of the public don't seem to get that this isn't necessarily a negative thing. I picture her with some kid and not really knowing what to do with it and then realizing that her life isn't her own anymore and getting resentful and then feeling guilty about it...etc, etc.....eh...at least she'll have something else to focus her neuroses on.

why would someone just START to plan a kid at age 37? thats not exactly young to just start those thoughts. ah, yah had a lot of time to do that before. what were you waiting for? and now you want to have a baby next year, even though you're not married or whateves . . . and next year is like a few days away. for someone who wants kids, you had a lot of years where you could have.
