ELECTRA'S SCORPION DIES
Former BAYWATCH beauty CARMEN ELECTRA is mourning the death of her pet scorpion.
In the summer (05), the sexy actress found the stinger crawling around her Hollywood home and decided to keep it - much to the dismay of her rocker husband DAVE NAVARRO.
She says, "He walked toward the light. He died.
"I took very good care of my scorpion, because I felt bad (for him). I didn't want to kill him and I didn't want to just let him back out, so I fed him grasshoppers and I went to a pet store to find out what to do.
"I guess they have a short life span. I don't know."

What the?? We are talking about a bug here!!! Maybe I am less sentimental because most Aussie bugs will kill you in a heartbeat, but scorpions are not renowned for their placid nature.

Because some gossip reporter at a party or premiere walked up to her and begged for a quote most likely. You know, reporters often carry around with a list of questions they need to ask for later "round-up" features (quotes from multiple celebs about this and that). So the celeb can easily be at, for example, his own movie premiere and someone is barking at him word-association-type things that aren't even questions like, "Pets! What do you have!" or "Diet secrets!" or "Desperate Housewives!" or "Sexiest woman!" So that's where a lot of this crap comes from.
