Michael Jackson is reportedly so broke his animals are on the brink of starvation.

The cash-strapped star hasn't sent enough money from his Bahrain hideaway to feed the animals in the private zoo at his Neverland Ranch, according to reports.

Electricity has also been partially cut off at the Californian estate.
Fox News columnist Roger Friedman revealed: "I am told the situation at Neverland is dire. While Jackson is in Bahrain with his kids and their nanny, some of the electricity at the ranch was recently shut off.

"Also, there are real fears now for the animals in Jackson's home zoo. Last week, the ranch was down to almost no food for the animals. At the last minute, sources say, a delivery was made, but it won't last long."

Meanwhile, the eccentric star is facing possible financial ruin tomorrow (20.12.05).

Jackson is set to be officially declared in default of a staggering

£152 million loan.

It means the loan company, Fortress Investment Group, will be able to foreclose and take possession of Jackson's half-interest in the

£570 million Sony/ATV Music Publishing company, as well as the entire MiJac Music Publishing company.

Earlier this year, it was revealed Jackson, who was cleared of child sex abuse charges following a lengthy trial this year, is in such financial strife he had been paying staff late - and some even quit.

An employee was quoted on America's Foxnews.com as saying: "Everyone is p****d. It was one thing when it happened during the trial but now it is a different story."

Hell, *I'LL* do it! This is despicable! I don't care what this asshole bastard does to himself, but abuse and neglect of the helpless (human or other) is unconscionable! I wish he would get what he so richly deserves, but I don't think that's legal.

I completely agree. I'm just sick of karma taking forever to nail this guy. I can't deal with people who take advantage of the innocent (children, animals, elderly/infirmed people).

I'm with you NurseNoir. Those poor animals, someone better rescue them. If this information is published I'm sure the animal rights people, HSUS, PETA, ASPCA.....someone will be checking into this and making sure those animals are ok.

He wasnt that agood on looking after them when he lived there. He (I read this in one of my Michael books) had a giraffe dragged away bya vehicle and its skin was shredded on the ground. He would throw things at the monkeys to upset them, and I think it said in that book too that he would teach them to grab their privates. Or did they teach him to do that? That sounds more like it. Just joking.
