My spy told me: “They were picking out engagement rings and she was trying them on.
“They popped into lots of the flash jewellers on New Bond Street. But they were in Bulgari and Van Cleef & Arpels for the longest period.
They had huge smiles on their faces and were kissing and cuddling. It looks like Kate is about to be Mrs Bloom.”

Orlando — a devout Buddhist — and American Kate met three years ago while filming an ad for Gap clothing.
But their blossoming careers have put huge stress on the relationship — and they have regularly split up and got back together.

Brit Orlando has spent long periods in the Bahamas this year shooting the two sequels to Pirates Of The Caribbean.
And Kate, who lives in LA, has been in Sydney, Australia, shooting the movie Superman Returns. She plays Lois Lane.

Orlando was snapped hanging out with SIENNA MILLER at a polo event in Windsor over the summer.
He has also been romantically linked to Spider-Man actress KIRSTEN DUNST.

But Orlando and Kate have been an item again for a few months — and made a rare joint public appearance last week at a special screening of hit movie Annie Hall in London.

Superman Returns and Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest will be summer blockbusters. But the biggest event of the year looks set to be their wedding.
