Default Paris Hilton tops PETA’s worst-dressed list

msnbc.msn.com
December 15, 2005

Paris Hilton has been given a dubious honor: she’s been named the worst-dressed celeb in America by PETA.

“Now we know what happens to all of Paris Hilton’s cast-off pets,” the animal-rights group quips of the fur-wearing, partying heiress in its annual worst-dressed list.

Coming in right behind Hilton is her new best buddy, Kimberly Stewart. “What does Kimberly Stewart have in common with the remains of the animals killed for her furs?” asks PETA. “They’re both spoiled rotten.”

Hardy partier Tara Reid comes in fifth on the list and PETA.org posts a pic of her wearing what is described as looking like Lindsay Lohan’s dog.

Reality-show stars are big on the list, which also includes Lisa Gastineau and Victoria Gotti. “Gotti’s fur coats make her an accessory to murder, and it’s a look that goes well with cement shoes,” says PETA. “Considering the way she dresses, her show should be called ‘Growing Up Gaudy’.”

I dont understand how people know or claim to know what Paris Hilton does with her own "cast off" pets.. I mean thats just silly, a lot of people have a lot of pets, so what?? They probably get to run around in a huge mansion or garden and get taken care of by servants. I wouldnt worry about them!

PETA may be trying to make fun of her *here*. but this story of her being "cruel" to her animals or whatever has been making the rounds everywhere lately. Thats what Im referring to basically.

I wouldn't think she is cruel enough to have a pet made into a piece of clothing, but I do think she is cruel to animals in that she is always dragging them around to social functions and shopping and things that you know they hate. And forcing them into stupid clothes with tiaras. She claims to love animals so much but she has no thought as to what the animal may want to be doing, rather than attending a fashion show. If she wants something furry to carry around and pose with, buy a teddy bear. Living things are not accessories.
