Serkis: No complaints over King Kong recognition

SERKIS HAS NO COMPLAINTS OVER KING KONG RECOGNITION

Actor ANDY SERKIS refuses to worry about his input providing motion capture and facial expressions for the computer generated KING KONG going unnoticed by movie fans.

Serkis instead preferred the challenge of generating the soul of the eponymous ape in PETER JACKSON's remake, although he acknowledges his own features never appear onscreen.

He says, "What I love about acting is getting inside a role, and whether it's manifested digitally or I'm wearing make-up or a costume, it's the thought processes and the chance to work on something that's going to challenge me. That's the reward."

Mr. Serkis did a fine job as "Lumpy the Cook", in King Kong as well...funny though, how many would not even know who he is.

Amazing actor. King Kong was beautiful.

I thought that was him! I hated King Kong, but I'm not what you call an unbiased source. I don't like Adrien Brody, and I really cannot tolerate Jack Black. Oh, and out of all the animals in the Animal Kingdom, primates are right there with frogs on my list of Least Favorite.

I loved Naomi Watts' shoes in the final New York scene, and I thought she did a pretty good job. Overall I just found it incredibly cheesy.

yes, apart from naomi watts, i thought the casting for the movie was shite as well. for all the same reasons stated above ^^^

i am not going to see this movie. i can understand why peter jackson wanted to do it, but it just isn't interesting to me. hopefully the rumors about jackson doing the hobbit are true, though. that would rock!

I thought Kong was totally entertaining. Not a big LoTR fan, but this one did it for me.
