The sexy actress hit headlines last year (04), when she was the only one out of the show's leading stars to be overlooked for both Golden Glove and Emmy nominations.

And after getting the news yesterday (13DEC05) that she'd been nominated, she admits she literally fell out of bed.

She says, "It was my sister (who told me). She goes, 'You got nominated!' I said, 'No I didn't,' and she said, 'Yeah, you did!'

"I didn't think I did because it wasn't my publicist or my manager (telling me) and I was like, 'No, somebody would have called by now if I had gotten nominated."

She adds, "It's nice to be the underdog. Everybody was rooting for me to get nominated. And just that made me cry when I heard in the press room that everybody cheered when they said my name."

This year (05), NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN stands as the only main player on the show to go without a nomination.

Oh, yes, she finally got nominated and it's a relief because she's had such a long career and is so clearly deserving of recognition for her talent.

I hope Mary Louise Parker wins.

I love it!

EVERYBODY was rooting for her yet NOBODY rushed to the phone to call her.

Oh yeah, except her "sister"

. Then they launch into this brilliant conversation:

She goes, 'You got nominated!' I said, 'No I didn't,' and she said, 'Yeah, you did!'

You know she was watching TV just waiting for her name to be read and then she called her sister and the rest of the people who didn't give a damn in the first place. Hope she wins because she's going to deliver one profound acceptance speech.

You know if she wins, she's gonna get up there and be all "omg.. omg..." and fighting back the tears of joy and covering her moth with her hand and that whole routine. *vomit*

I wondered what had happened to Sheridan, she is hardly ever on the show it seems. So if she pulls a "poor me I got snubbed" all I have to say is you have to be on the show more often so quite your whining.

Lowhoria?, I know she didnt get that shit out of playing a classy ho. I doubt she'll win, but she have to learn some new trix, if she wants to win.

You are so right on! She will probably say that she is so "surprised, omg, omg" and "omg, omg, can't believe this is happening, omg" and then she'll say that she doesn't "deserve to win omg" blah blah blah more omg BS and then she'll think she is too big for television and will leave DH for a film career.
