Hayden Christensen chases fan

Hayden Christensen allegedly chased after a fan who heckled him for "ruining' the 'Star Wars' movies.

The handsome actor, who played Anakin Skywalker in two of the three sci-fi prequels, had been leaving his trailer on the set of new movie 'Awake' when the disgruntled 'fan' approached him.

Christensen - who stars with Jessica Alba in the new film - stopped to chat to the man who, according to onlookers, then shouted in his face: "You ruined the 'Star Wars' movies!' before starting to walk off

According to a report in America's New York Post newspaper, an annoyed Christensen "chased the guy down the street and scared him away' before returning to the set fuming.

A spokeswoman for the Weinstein Co, which is producing 'Awake', has declined to comment on the alleged incident

I know. And you can't blame Hayden. Everyone knows that George Lucas' writing is totally crap. Even Harrison Ford said "you can write this shit George but I sure as hell can't say it". And no one, I mean NO ONE has ever said to me, "gee that acting is so great in Star Wars".

Star Wars, the original series, was so far ahead of its time in terms of visual effects, people were mesmerized. Now almost every movie is about special effects - so it doesn't seem so special anymore.

The new movies were crap. Hayden's acting was crap. But good for him for chasing the fucker.

and don't blame Hayden for the bad dialoge, it was Luca$' fault!

Hayden can actually act, I would recommend "Shattered Glass" as an example. The problem is George Lucas barely directs.. his instructions on the first ever star wars movie to his actors was "Do it better. Do it faster. Be more intense." and that's about it.

That, combined with having NO set around you, talking to little strips of tape on a green wall and attempting to pretend there's something there is fucking HARD.

No direction + no environment = how the fuck am i supposed to act?

I second the recommendation for Shattered Glass. Hayden is very good in it, and it's a pretty good movie overall.

Acting must be very fascinating, but in this condition it must lose most of its appeal.

it's not fair to judge anyone's acting in ANY of the Star Wars movies...you can put Sir Anthony Hopkins in a movie with shitty-ass writing and he would look bad too! anyway...i like Hayden. i'm anxious to see what else he comes out with.
