Dennis Hopper once considered suicide

Former Hollywood hellraiser DENNIS HOPPER considered suicide during the worst of his alcoholism in the 1980s.

The veteran star spiralled to the extent he could no longer face living, believing it was only a matter of time until he was locked up as a result of his booze-fuelled rampages.

He recalls, "I was going to kill myself. I was so bad that I couldn't make a gesture, I couldn't speak.

"It was a terrible time. It was either incarceration, death or get sober."

I think almost everyone has seriously considered suicide at least once.

Although there may be a difference between having suicidal thoughts and actually considering suicide (+ some planning involved?).

Yeah, in psych evals you have to specify, if there is suicidal ideation, if the person has intent to actually do it and if they have a plan.
