The star also rubbished claims the film is one of the cheesiest movies ever made.

He told Britain's Now magazine: "It did wonders for my career and still has a loyal following.
"Try asking the 100 Club in America - those people who've seen 'Dirty Dancing' at least 100 times - if they think it's the hammiest movie ever!"

Patrick Swayze would love to do ANY movie that could revive his career.

Although he WAS perfect as a child molester in Donnie Darko.

My thought exactly! hehe! So what exactly would be the plot to DD2? Or is it DD3?

DD3 i think...they did that DD Havana something or other. it was a huge success not.

As one of the few women on the planet who hated Dirty Dancing, I will politely ask any studio execs to "just say no" to this idea of a sequel.
