Nicole Richie and fiancé Adam Goldstein's recent split was not mutual, according to reports. The stunning 'Simple Life' star and club DJ Adam, who dated for a year before getting engaged in February, called time on their nine-month engagement saying it was a joint decision

But, according to America's New York Post, sources have claimed Goldstein ended the relationship because of Richie's "moodiness" - attributed to maintaining her stick-thin figure - had put a strain on the couple

Richie's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, confirmed that the couple had split, saying the break-up had been in the works for several days

^^^if she has an eating disorder, it is very difficult to stand by and watch someone you love kill themselves. maybe he just couldn't handle it anymore. it certainly doesn't appear that she wanted to do anything about it.
