Rod Stewart and his fiancée, former model Penny Lancaster, on Wednesday announced the name of their 10-day-old baby: Alastair Wallace Stewart.

Alastair was chosen for its Scottish origins, while Wallace is named in memory of Penny's grandfather, according to the musician's publicist, who added that father, mother and son are all doing well.

The baby boy was born Nov. 27 at 2:24 a.m. Sunday at St. John and St. Elizabeth Hospital in London and weighed in at 7 lbs. 7 oz. Stewart was present for, and participated in, the natural birth.

The parents, who have been together for nearly six years, are currently at home in Epping, England. "We are celebrating every moment with our beautiful boy, we just can't take our eyes off him," said Stewart at the time of Alastair's birth.

Lancaster, 34, and Stewart, 60, previously said they're aiming for a spring 2006 wedding.

This is Lancaster's first child. Stewart has five children from previous relationships: Kimberly, 26 (who recently called off her brief engagement to Laguna Beach star Talan Torriero), and Sean, 25, by first wife Alana Stewart; Ruby, 18, with former girlfriend Kelly Emberg; and Renee, 13, and Liam, 11, from his marriage to second wife Rachel Hunter.
