Kate Moss earning more than before her cocaine expose

KATE Moss is laughing all the way to the bank - despite being exposed for taking drugs.

She earns more now than she did before the Mirror revealed her cocaine abuse three months ago.

Experts reckon she could almost TRIPLE her estimated £4million a year pay packet. And she owes it all to a little help from her friends...including top designer Stella McCartney. Sir Paul's daughter has stuck by the 31-year-old model throughout her recent troubles.

The pair were pictured chatting at the weekend on the Caribbean island of St Barts, where Kate has been working on a photo-shoot. It is believed Stella wants to sign her as the face of her label for next year's autumn-winter collection.

Looking bronzed and relaxed, Kate obviously appreciated Stella's support as the lucrative contracts continue to roll in.

The friends were in New York when our story broke - and Kate was later dumped by fashion store H&M. An insider said: "Stella never condemned Kate and felt bad about how she was treated. No doubt Kate is grateful that she has been so loyal."

The Stella deal will cap an amazing reversal of fortunes for London-born Kate.

Work with top names including Roberto Cavalli, Calvin Klein, Rimmel, Virgin Mobile and Pirelli could earn her up to £12million over the next 12 months.

I do not condone drug use, but shit, it's not like everyone in the industry isn't doing it and it's not accepted. She should have quit once her kid was born, but to act as sanctimoniously as these companies did...that's the shame.

I think its disgusting that Kate is earning more money now because she was caught doing drugs, this sets such a bad example to other young up and coming models that see Kate as a role model. Do drugs, be a bad ass, go in to rehab to 'get back in touch' with yourself and everyone will think you're so great.

and I agree with you about the bad example, except it's the norm in that industry. Perhaps when designers stop making clothes for wraiths, and start designing with more womanly proportions in mind, the coke use, the herion addictions, all that makes the industry sleazy and destructive will cease.
