An exorbitant amount??? Give me a break- all actors are way overpaid anyway, just like professional athletes.

I seriously doubt Dunst's box office draw would warrant an "exhorbitant" salary. The bitch ain't that good!

The producers are probably laughing at Kirsten's delusions that she actually has the power and prestige to browbeat them into paying an "exorbitant" amount of money for her return. They can easily replace her, recasting the role of Mary Jane, or just write Mary Jane out of the movie entirely. She's lucky that she got the role in the first place. Besides Spiderman, what box office hits has she had recently? She specializes in playing idiotic, slutty girls in movies geared towards 15 year olds. The role of Mary Jane Watson is the best role, as well as one of the only respectable ones, that she's gotten in a while, and if she wants to throw it away by trying to manipulate producers into making her even more overpaid than she already is, then she's a lot dumber than I thought.

I like her, i really don't know why she gets so much flack. She has been acting since she was a little girl and she has yet to succomb to Young Hollywoods pitfalls: drugs, clubbing, eating disorders, door of revolving sex partners... Maybe she doesn't have much of a boxoffice draw, but who really does these days?
