November 26th, 2005: Thanksgiving labor rumor - Jennifer Garner gives birth.
According to a post Blogging Baby, a reader is reporting that actress Jennifer Garner may have gone into labor on Thanksgiving Day.
Garner, who is expecting her first baby with Ben Affleck, was due November 11, but recent reports have been circulating that her due date was moved up to December 5. As soon as we can get a confirmation (or denial) for that matter, we'll let you know.
The poster reports that Jennifer Garner went into labor on Thanksgiving Day, and was to have had the baby by Friday morning. None of the mainstream outlets are reporting it.
We await further news! Any amateur paparazzo out there?
The word on the street is that 'Alias' star Garner and Ben Affleck will name their baby girl "Violet." The name was apparently the inspiration for a purple-themed baby shower theme according to the latest issue of US Magazine. Guests reportedly dined on salad, quiche, and fruit. The gifts reportedly included a My Brest Friend nursing pillow and an embroidered dress.

I asked this over in the picture section (duh moment), did she have a big butt before getting pregnant? Cause I'm thinking her behind is going to be a different shape after the baby decides to finally get out of there.

I don't think she had a big butt. When I was preggers my butt was HUGE. I mean HUGE HUGE HUGE. So HUGE, in fact, that my husband commented on it...something he obviously regrets to this day...

If the mother is healthy and in good shape, I don't see a reason why she wouldn't be up and moving around fairly soon after delivery. One of the things I hated most about having my kids in a hospital was being stuck in bed with nothing to do - I was good to go a couple of hours after giving birth.

Most of the time you don't have to go to the hospital until you're in active labor (the painful intense labor portrayed on TV). Early labor can last up to 16 hours, so you're better off going out and walking around in order to get things moving into active labor. When I had my baby in October, I was induced and wasn't allowed to walk around because I had to be on fetal monitors the whole time. It would be completely possible for Jennifer Garner to be getting coffee the same day she has a baby. But I don't think she's had the baby yet.

Right, but I was referring to this passage:

I don't have kids, but I wouldn't think any Dr. in his/her right mind would let a woman who had just given birth a couple hours before go strolling downtown for coffee. And I can't imagine any woman who had just given birth would want to Again, no kids, just going by how exhausting and strenuous I imagine it is.

Yes, we had moments like that. I had no butt when pregnant and still don't but now I have hips. I was a fat rectangle before getting pregnant and realized about a year after having him while getting dressed up for a meeting one night that I had hips. I think my exact words were "what in the the world". I had a similar reaction to finding out that your nipples change.
