Harvey Weinstein would hire Lindsay Lohan

Harvey Weinstein may be one of the most formidable movie moguls in Hollywood, but he's a softy when it comes to Lindsay Lohan.

In an interview set to air Friday on Entertainment Tonight, Weinstein only has well-wishes for the 21-year-old actress, who's currently in rehab in the Cirque Lodge treatment center in Utah. "I just hope that Lindsay is fine. She's a good lady," says Weinstein.

Would he hire Lohan once she leaves rehab? "Of course. She's a wonderful actress," he tells ET. "She did a great job in Bobby." He added: "Lindsay is a wonderful talent."

The uber-producer also believes that many of Lohan's mistakes can be chalked up to youth. "You know, we keep forgetting they're kids. They're making mistakes. Hopefully, they'll clean it up and somebody will kick their butts."

Yeah, but somehow I doubt that'll extend to covering the insurance for her to work, since probably no company in their right mind would cover her now.

I think I read before that the only way she'll ever be able to get insurance on a set again is if she pays for it herself.

But I'm pretty sure most of her money is in her liver or up her nose by now ... so good luck with THAT!

Though, I love the insane/crazy/druggie Linds, so I don't want her to go away...just want her to do what she does BEST. Make an ass of herself!
