Woeful BRITNEY SPEARS is pouring out her emotions in a spiritual track on her long-awaited new album.
The heart-tugging tune doesn't have a title yet, but insiders who have heard the song insist it shows Spears is at a crossroads in her life - and she's desperate for love.
In one line she sings, "Every day I'm in a daze, looking for that someone. I sit and kneel and pray/Oh sweet love, why do you desert me?"

Just heard the song on Perez...
She's wails and tries to hit the notes, but fails... You have to listen to it. The part with her on the telephone will make you cringe.

... and she's desperate for love.
She doesn't need love. She needs a good shrink to straighten out the mess in her head. She doesn't have a hope in hell of any relationship working until she's taken care of herself first.

Very true. A long shower wouldn't hurt either.

the phone part sucked. she sounds like she is trying to go all christina. she has always sucked as a singer, IMO. she was a "good" performer, but that is probably gone now, too. she sould move to eastbumfuck idaho, or iowa or something...get out of the limelight and get her shit together.

I listened to 1/2 of the song (cos that's all I could bear).
Went upstairs to wash the dishes, only the realize I had that song stuck in my head.
Proof that even shitty, pointless songs can stick in one's head.

What is really scary is that it may become popular. You know how some of the shittiest music become hits now adays.

Am I the only one who thinks the song may be directed at Kevin?

I thought it was pathetic. She's NO Christina. Sounds like she took her diary out while drunk and put her desperate words to "music". I weep for the music industry...what's left of it.
