Fan saves Beckhams from robbery

The luxury Beverly Hills home of DAVID and VICTORIA BECKHAM was spared a robbery after one the burglars happened to be a fan of David’s soccer club LA GALAXY.

The group of crooks had previously stolen cash and gems from three other homes near where the celebrity couple live, but are now close to being caught after the fan showed more loyalty towards his new British hero than to his criminal chums and went to the police.

A Los Angeles Police Department source says, "It’s amazing to think the guy they picked was a Galaxy fan. There aren’t that many in LA!"
