The Chilean film director whom Kylie Minogue developed a close friendship with earlier this year has been dumped by his furious wife.
Laura Dahm walked out on her husband Alexander just weeks after giving birth to their child, blaming his friendship with the Australian pop princess.
Sources close to the couple claim that Dahm's infatuation with Kylie has destroyed his marriage with Laura "utterly humiliated and in despair".

"She told him she had had enough and was leaving him," the Sunday Mirror reported.
"Poor Laura just couldn't cope with her husband being so obviously smitten with another woman.
"At the start she chose to believe there was nothing going on.
"But after the baby - their second child - was born three weeks ago, things became clearer in her mind.

Friends claims that Kylie and Alexander's friendship has led to his wife walking out on him
Kylie was repeatedly pictured with Dahm in May after meeting the 39-year-old in Mexico during a photo-shoot for her H&M bikini range.
They were photographed enjoying a cosy dinner together but both parties strenuously denied that they were romantically involved.
Kylie went so far as to release a statement insisting that it was "offensive" to suggest that she would have an affair with a married man

Laura Dahm has reportedly walked out on her husband
She said: "I have never been unfaithful to a partner and would find it completely immoral to be involved with a married man."
Kylie and Dahm are still in touch and are reportedly finalising plans to meet up again next month. Friends say that they hope to meet at a European hideaway.
When news of their friendship first broke Laura defended her husband stating:
"We've been married seven years and I've heard of the 'seven-year itch', but I trust Alexander and he would never leave me for Kylie."

But their bond may have proven too much for Laura - a highly successful lawyer - to bear.
She moved out of the third-floor Mexico City apartment she shares with her husband two weeks ago to stay with her father - taking their two children, newborn Mila and three-year-old Matias.
"She knew she couldn't live with his behaviour for the rest of her life, not even for the sake of their children." said a source.
"What woman would be prepared to put up with a husband whose mind is so obviously elsewhere?
"The fact that it is Kylie - one of the world's most famous women - makes it all the more gut-wrenching for her.
"She is blaming Kylie's presence in her husband's life for the marriage becoming unworkable.
Yesterday Laura Dahm insisted that her marriage was not in trouble. Speaking from her parent's home, she said: "I had my baby three weeks ago and am resting here"
"There is nothing wrong with me and Alex." Kylie has recently been spotted with former love Olivier Martinez and the pair are rumoured to be rekindling their relationship. They split in February after four years together.
