While sons Sean Preston, 23 months, and Jayden James, 11 months, are away (with mom Britney Spears this weekend), it was Kevin Federline's turn to play... into the early hours of the morning.

Federline, who has kept a low profile as his child custody battle with ex Spears looms, hit the Venetian's Tao Nightclub in Las Vegas Friday night with a party of 25.

"He was drinking straight from the vodka and Jagermeister bottles," an onlooker said. "I didn't see him with a drink in his hand that much, but he drank out of the bottles a few times."

Federline and his group arrived at the club around 11:30 p.m. and had dinner at Tao's Loft before retreating to the club at 1 a.m., says a source. There, Federline, dressed in jeans and a yellow polo shirt, started the party with bottles of Jack Daniels, Grey Goose and Jagermeister.

Stationed at his VIP table, Federline chatted with a few of the girls surrounding him, and later migrated to the table full of women adjacent to his. "He was grinding up on a few of the girls," the source said. "He had a flashlight and was shining it on some of the girls around him."

Thoughout the night, Federline flashed his gold necklace to the deejay, DJ Reach, and even held up a cigarette lighter when the deejay played Jay-Z's "Big Pimpin'.

Smiling and chain-smoking throughout the night, Federline finally left the club around 4 a.m.

Imagine ... having the audacity to go out on his weekend off. AND he didn't even puke in the alley, have skeezy sex in a public pool, or flash his crotch.

He must be just about the worst father EVER!

That's the first time he was caught going out since Britney's crotch shot night. He probably parties behind closed doors most of the time. He's smarter than I thought he was.

I think the Daddy of the Year routine he's currently cultivating is bullshit. Way down deep inside he's still the same disgusting pig he always was back when he had kids that didn't have a millionaire mommy.

They are both very weird. She is so not fit to be a parent, parties too much. While he is TRYING to be a parent, but is really taking her to court for money...talk about jerk!

I agree. his spousal support runs out in November as per the terms of the pre-nup. If he gets primary custody then he can come back to court and ask for more child support. And he will. he is getting 12, 000 mthly spousal support. Hey, good weed aint cheap man! A scrub has gotta keep himself in ganja. As I recall he was cheating on Brit while they were married with a stripper. yeah right he's a great dad.
