Yea! George Michael does his community service in London homeless shelter
George Michael Starts Servicing the Community
Posted Aug 15th 2007 1:41PM by TMZ Staff
After being convicted of driving while unfit earlier this year, George Michael -- aka the British male Lindsay -- has started his sentence of 100 hours of community service. Wham!
Proving he's good with his hands, George stayed clear of bathroom duty and helped out in the garden at a London hostel for the homeless on Monday. Too funky!
This isn't the 44-year-old's first stint doing court-ordered volunteer work. In 1998, George served 80 hours of community service after being arrested for "lewd" conduct at a Beverly Hills public toilet.

Go George!

I don't care, I'll 'fess up. I loved Wham! back in 1985. I couldn't for the life of me work out what that other guy did in the band, but oh well. I hope George get's it together.
Why the hell is Pete Doherty not doing something like this?

I completely don't know! Mind - I'd have had him in jail before now, just for being skanky & a menace to public health!

I was the worlds biggest Wham! in the 80's fan (my kids would die of embarrassment just hearing that) but I loved Andrew Ridgeley, George's sidekick, even if he just stood there and did nothing but look good......
