Lindsay Lohan seeks solace at home in Long Island

If there’s one multi-million dollar celebrity whose life isn’t very enviable these days, it’s Lindsay Lohan. The troubled singer/actress has decided to try a change of scenery to help her get back on her feet.

It has been reported that LiLo secretly made her way from LA to Long Island, NY via a first class flight this past Friday. Her mother Dina Lohan, grandmother and younger siblings all waited anxiously at Kennedy Airport for the Mean Girls actress to arrive.


And Dina has high hopes (hopefully the right kind of high) for her daughter. She told press, “She’s doing fine.” So fine, in fact, that she may be hooking back up with her father this week.

As early as Wednesday, Lindsay may be reunited with her father, Michael Lohan. “Lindsay has never stopped loving her dad,” a source close to the actress said. “She has never said that.”

After Michael dropped his dirty divorce tactics of having Lindsay’s mother Dina take a drug test, the Georgia Rule babe decided to grant him a reunion.

Daddy Lohan is a bit concerned that LiLo won’t get the kind of treatment she deserves while staying with her mother. “You can’t go from the fire to the furnace,” he told press. “My wife is surrounding my children with the wrong people.”

And Michael wishes his daughter the best as she continues on her road to recovery. “I just hope she continues on the path of sobriety,” he said. “Lindsay does not need incarceration. She needs rehabilitation.”
