GWYNETH PALTROW is in trouble with her physiotherapist for ignoring doctor's orders and wearing towering stilettos at a recent comic convention.

The actress is recovering from knee surgery in June (07) and has been banned from high heels until the joint heals.

However, she flaunted medical advice on Sunday (29Jul07), appearing at the Comic-Con in San Diego, California in tall silver shoes.

Pleading with photographers she said, "Don't show my non-orthopaedic shoes. I got off the crutches two weeks ago and the cane yesterday and I've been doing a lot of physical therapy and I'm seriously not supposed to be in these shoes, but that's OK."
