Tom Cruise purchases sonogram machine

Entertainment Tonight reports that in the issue of People hitting newstands on Friday, Tom Cruise reveals that he has purchased a sonogram machine so he can follow the progress of his and Katie's baby on his own. These run anywhere from $15-200,000! Tom said that he will donate the machine to a hospital after the birth of the baby. He also revealed that he and Katie's wedding will be sometime in 2006, after the baby is born.

It's wait and see for wedding plans too, according to Cruise. "We are gonna get married next summer or early fall," he told Walters. "We don't have a date set yet."

Uh, okay. Did he hire a tech to come on board and do it for them whenever they want to see little Kiff? Because not just anyone can give an ultrasound and read the results acurately.

Besides, it's not good for the baby to get unlimited sonograms. They are not necessary and I've read that the effects really aren't known. It's best to limit them to just what's needed. And with a healthy pregnancy that's not many.

He is an idiot. Doing his own sonos. Pffffft. So, I guess Katie's parents are pretty pissed that her baby is gonna be a bastard. Isn't that sad? Won't even fucking marry her until AFTER the baby is born. Just not getting off on the right foot of being the new son-in-law are ya, Tom? Dick. I would have punched his fucking lights out by now.

THANK YOU! I was going to say the same thing--freaking repeated sonos are NOT GOOD. Does he know the history of sonography?? DOES HE? Seems like in that wacky f-ing church of his, they would be AGAINST such things, but obviously not. What an asshole. He just couldn't be more of a prick seriously. Those things are not toys you jerk.

I read that it is Katie that wants to wait, so she can have a "fairy-tale wedding", complete with the expensive gown...but not a maternity gown.

Probably not..he just knows the history of psychiatry. But I'm sure the next time he's on talking with Matt Lauer..he'll tell us he does..with that stern look of his.

Tom Cruise is such a control freak - you just know he couldn't stand it that the baby was in HER body. He had to get a way to find out what is "really going on"..what a nutcase.
How does she stand him?
