Did Pete Wentz cheat on Ashlee Simpson?

Just when everything seemed to be going perfect in the lives of Fall Out Boy babe Pete Wentz, and Ashlee Simpson, tragedy strikes. Apparently Pete has been having some fun on the side.
Well at this point it’s all hearsay, according to a fan source. Pete’s been having an Internet relationship with a fan that he met on his MySpace page. And the online affair has just been exposed by Wentz’s cyber-mistress

“We talked consistently since the beginning of May,” said the girl. “He asked me to buy these clothes from Clandestine Industries, his clothing line, and I did. Then he said I should model them for him and he promised he’d give me swag and tickets for the tour.”

According to the girl, Pete minimized his relationship with Ashlee until one night at a concert, when it was undeniable. “Ashlee was there and my heart SUNK. I couldn’t believe he’d been saying these things to me while she was literally on the road with him. He definitely recognized me and we had plenty of awkward exchanges in eye contact throughout the night,” she told online press.

Whether or not it’s true, Pete needs to start making better choices when it comes to his activity online. We all remember the infamous “Pete’s Peepee” pics, after all.

Just goes to show you, you can have all the plastic surgery you want but it won't keep your Fall out Boy from falling for his myspace ho (probably a 45 yr old bald male weighing 300+ lbs). It's ok Ashlee, you Simpsons aren't meant to be happy. Just ugly and incestuous...I'm sure Joe will console you, in the shower, in bedroom, at the dinner table, in the pool...

Maybe he just wanted the girl to buy his clothes and then get some free modeling shots for some tickets. In my past clubbing days I got tickets and free crap from bands all the time. And it wasn't cause any of them were having an emotional affair with me.

If he was telling her he wanted to hook up with her or meet her after a show or something, then I'd agree there might be something going on. But wanting her to buy his clothes? Sounds a bit like him taking advantage of a willing fan to get her to shell out some money and an excited fan thinking there's more going on than there really is. (So obviously yes, I care a little bit.)
