Default Ali Lohan speaks out

Source
Quote:
Hi david this is ali lohan, i want everybody to know the truth out there. My mom is a single mom of four children she has always been there for us, she was my mother and father and still is. My father is telling all lies to people and saying he was such a great dad and was always there for us, my father was never there for us, My mom was always there souporting us. i think that the whole reason why my sister is upset with her self and not as cofident, is because of my dad not being around, and always staying out late and not coming home for days, he would come back home never himself, he was always was making excuses for his bad behavior . And would always blame my mother. He just wants everybody in the world knowing that he was a great dad. He wasnt that is all a lie. I just want my sister to stick throught this okay, and my mother and brothers and i are there for my sister 100% and have always been. I’ve wanted to say this for so long and get this out there and let everyone know that our family is like a normal family but of course we are put under a microscope because of lindsays fame, lindsay will be fine she is just going through a rough time right now but she will be fine. i know this for a fact. My sisters is just like a normal sister. her and I have so much in common. My mother and sister are huge insperations to me, they have made it through so much in there lives.
Thankyou for your time god bless, Ali
I guess nobody in the Lohan house has heard of spell check. You know Dina either typed this out or made Ali send it in. That whole family is screwed

Holy shit, if this is the kind of retardation Dina Lohan turns out, her "souporting" skills are sorely lacking.

The Lohan family needs remedial spelling lessons. Or perhaps the more appropriate "Spelling For Dummies" book?

Still, even at 13, she writes better than Lindsay.

I routinely mark student essays at the university level with comparable spelling and grammar. Scary.

That's beyond scary, and straight into terrifying. I was reading an article yesterday about how the art of penmanship, and writing in general, are dying thanks to keyboards. Instead of learning how to spell and write legibly, these little bastards are learning how to hit backspace and spell check.

I don't think cursive is even being taught any more to 3rd graders - instead they learn to hunt and peck on a keyboard using that infernal textspeak. Go look at papers written 100-200 years ago, the language and handwriting are impeccable.

My cursive writing is horrendous...worse than a doctor's. But then, I've never understood the importance of script. As far as this kid writing this, if he/she (not sure which it is) wrote this it was probably written through a wall of emotion. If Dina did it, well, she's sadder than I thought. I wonder what the real story is with the dad. The kids all say he's a huge loser but I wonder how much of that came via teh mother (I read recently the judge in their divorce case is making them go to therapy in order to learn to deal with each other).

But does anyone use it as a grownup? I certainly don't. I use a sort of hybrid mixture of loops and print--basically I have crap penmanship but then, I've been typing for so bloody long that I rarely put pen to paper anymore except in my journal or the thank notes I have to write every so often.

my cursive handwriting and my print has blended into one odd mix... I actually have decent handwriting but only use it for grocery and "to do" lists ..

Maybe it's a regional or a school-by-school thing? I was talking to a mom friend of mine not too terribly long ago that told me she was having to teach her 9 year old how to write in cursive, because the school system didn't teach it anymore. I thought it was sad that handwriting seems to be going by the wayside.
