David Hasselhoff Says His Crazy, Drunk Hamburger Video Gave Him Closure
Filed under: David Hasselhoff

I can't help but root for the Hoff. Maybe I'm just buying the hype. Or, I've simply watched too many Baywatch episodes from my childhood. Whatever the cause, I'm happy to hear him talking about the now infamous video that was leaked to the media of him drunk and eating a hamburger, while lying on the floor shirtless and in jeans. Filmed by his 17-year-old daughter, David was shown the video in order to give him a wake-up call about his drinking and according to Hasselhoff, it worked, and brought him "closure" to that difficult chapter of his life. "It was really nonsensical and none of that needed to happen. But in the end, you know, I tried to find a reason for it all and I found that reason. And that reason was that everything had to come to some sort of closure to move on. That has helped." I think the next logical step would be a reality show. Come on, David. Do it. Do it. DO IT. Sorry, that's just me trying to hypnotize him.

Sorry but I laughed when I saw it. I like the Hoff but that just cracked me up.

The title or the article?
He will still be undergoing alcohol testing, but it looks like he's passing.
The photos were from the Simpsons premiere & he took his 2 daughters.
I thought it was funny too, but he's talking about it no hushing it up... (can anyone say trip & beyonce?) LOL

It wasn't a hamburger, it was pizza.

Course he doesn't regret it--no such thing as bad publicity.

At least he isn't trying to deny it or pretend it didn't happen.
I like it when people are real like the Hoff.

It's refreshing to see a celeb stepping up, taking responsibility for his actions, and making positive changes. It's hard to not love the Hoff.

I don't know why, but I don't have the urge to say anything bad about this guy. I mean, no one makes cheesiness more cooler than the Hoff.

What's with the Hasselhoff love-fest? Am I the only person in the world that finds him incredibly arrogant, annoying and childish.
Of course to be fair, most of my assessment of him is made after watching "America's Got Talent".
He would get incredibly pissed any time Sharon and Piers disagreed with him, especially in the case of "Boy Shakira", that freakish guy with the weird contacts and silver body paint, and some inner city kid dancers.
He actually threatened to leave the show because of the first two and threw huge tantrums in which he barricaded himself in his dressing room. This is in front of cameras for a national television show, imagine what he's like off camera. Then I hear he's all insulted because he wasn't included in some tribute to the fall of the Berlin wall, like he was one of the most important aspects of the event.
Plus, he creeps me out when he starts shouting and dancing during all the acts on the show. Seriously, he looks drunk half the time on the show, so I don't really buy this whole "closure" bit, anyway.
Sorry, I've never really been of fan of Hasselhoff, but something about him seriously rubs me the wrong way.

i dont get how boy shakira/boy brittany keeps making it thru to the finals. IT is awful. David is right on about that one. Sharon has thrown a tantrum and walked off the show as well.

Oh yah, I understand what ya mean. He definitely comes off arrogant, annoying, and childish, like you said, but to me, the Hoff does it in a way that makes it funny, unlike other celebs like Jessica Alba-tross, and Jennifer Chin-strap, who make it nautious.
