Nicole Richie and baby daddy Joel Madden had it out in public, spurring fears that they might be over. This is doubtful, as dating her keeps his shitty band in the press. And being pregnant and in a relationship makes her look a little more sympathetic to the courts. Unless you've been living in a treehouse in Botswana, she's up on charges for driving the wrong way down the freeway whilst high on weed and pills. She's the new D.A.R.E. officer at the local elementary school. Anyway, Joel and Richie had it out in Maryland at one of his tour stops.

I've always gotten the impression (even when Joel was dating Hilary) that he's very abusive- emotionally and possibly physically as well.

Please, couples fight. If I recall correctly, when I was knocked up mr. butt and I had some real doozies, partly because I was a tad emotional and partly because he was a tad emotional. It's a pretty big time and emotions can run high.

Nothing has been confirmed by Nicole herself, but "sources" and "her friends" say she is. I think that she's put on a bit of weight & is hiding her stomach hoping that the court will think that she is without actually having to admit if she is/isn't to get time off. And I don't think that she is.
