American comedian ROBIN WILLIAMS regularly receives phone calls from woman mistaking him for British pop singer ROBBIE WILLIAMS.

The Mrs Doubtfire star admits the similar spelling of their names has led to some puzzled, and disappointed, young ladies.

Williams, 55 says, "We do tend to get phone calls from women looking for him.
‘Oh, you’re the hairy one. Damn.’"
