Paula's Abdul Not Drunk -- Just Adorable?!

While Paula Abdul's intoxicating brand of incoherence has many, including David Letterman, questioning her sobriety, the tragically delicious "American Idol" trainwreck told the "Late Show" host that the reason people think she's always drunk is because of her "adorable personality." Slurring is so cute!

After Paula told David how endearing she is, the 45-year-old added, "Wouldn't you want me around 24/7?" Like a hangover that just won't go away!

Paula claims she's never been drunk. Insane -- that's an entirely different story!

She was on the view today, and she irritated me to no end! She was talking about how "tired" she was and Joy asked her if maybe it was the things she was taking for whatever "illness" she has that is making her "tired" and Elizabeth said, who do you have in your life that would tell you to just slow down, to just take it easy for a while? She looked at EH like she was speaking a foreign language....

LOL I usually don't care for her either, but she did something Wednesday that was cute and I started to kind of like her...sorta...
BW was talking about how in her day beginning with the Today show, they would not show a pregnant woman except from the shoulders up, and EH stood up and pulled up her shirt and said, yeah and today we can do this! BW almost died! To me, it showed that she was in fact, human. Today something was said and she said careful BW, next might be these-and touched her boobs-Joy said, watch it, the Christian Coalition will be on you for that! I love Elisabeth... I would have liked to see her confront Paula and say something like, "who do you think you're kidding?" rather than skirting around it. Paul Abdul is a joke and a has-been who still thinks that she's a sexy, in-demand star.

I'm watching the show on Tivo right now. She's a nut! Slurring, talking slow, calling 9/11 the "bombings" instead of airplane attacks.. She's on something for sure. They are playing her clip right now....time to fast forward...was she faking?

I've watched a couple episodes of her reality show. She's not adorable. She's a high maintenance diva who's always in tears. Or acting really inappropriately. I don't think she's some partier though. She's a depressed addict. Pain pills and booze, my guess.

ITA. And I don't think she's out partying it up either. I imagine she does it (whaver IT is) in the privacy of her own home. Too bad she just doesn't come clean. Then again, that would entail her realizing that there's something wrong.
