A crowd of wannabe WAGs dressed to impress at a party welcoming the Chelsea team to Los Angeles for their friendly match against LA Galaxy.


Glamour models rubbed shoulders with actresses Tara Reid and Sex And The City's Kristin Davis - and of course, professional party guest Paris Hilton.

Hilton hoped that David Beckham would turn up, saying he'd do "fantastically well" in the US for LA Galaxy, but he never arrived and the girls had to make do with Chelsea stars John Terry, Didier Drogba and Petr Cech, along with club owner Roman Abramovich.


One model, Simona Fusco, knew the theory of bagging a footballer - turning up in a gravity-defying dress.



Frank Lampard felt safe among his team-mates, keen not to be "set up" again - he is busy dismissing claims he cheated on fiance Elen Rives.

Arjen Robben was also at the Painting The Town Blue party, despite talk of him going to Real Madrid.
