Harvey Levin claims TMZ is not biased towards Paris Hilton

Bible student Paris Hilton came home yesterday morning looking like she'd stayed too long at the Wedding at Cana.

Two weeks after she vowed that her days of wretched party excess were over, the heavy-lidded heir-loon spilled out of a cab at 5 a.m. after a bash at the Sunset Tower Hotel.

Praise Jesus that someone called the nodding ex-con a taxi. But the evening did have two casualties — Paris' shoes, which were missing from her feet.

Hilton's rep tells us she was simply "exhausted" after flying to San Francisco to present her new jeans line to Macy's. Reporting this fashion news, TMZ.com alternated between the feather and the switch — branding Paris a "former jailbird," but noting that "the reaction from Macy's was amazing."

Could be the Hiltons are getting the gossip blog to go easier on Paris. Sources say Hilton’s handlers and her mom, Kathy, have courted friendlier coverage by offering exclusives. And last week, the site hired Jen Heger, the daughter of Paris' DUI case lawyer Richard Hutton, as a researcher.

TMZ managing editor Harvey Levin vouches, "We give no one preferential treatment, regardless of who you are or where you work. We call the stories as we see them."

Harvey Levin’s nose is going to grow. He was on CNN stating that Paris’ jail
sentence was unjust. TMZ was practically kissing Paris’ @ss, I have stopped
reading their site.

I wouldn't doubt it, Levin has been on LKL three times in the last couple months. Before that I never saw him on any type of talk show. I can't help it though, I like him for some reason.

I love Ted Casablanca, but I am deeply perplexed as to why he hasn't ripped her a new asshole for being such a despicable waste of a human being. I like him and agree with him on almost all other gossip-related subjects, but I'm convinced he's got Kathy Hilton as a major source or something and is afraid to call the Hiltons out on their bs.

The most he's done is the written equivalent of a wrist slap on Parisite for using racist epithets and poo-pooing on her for using drugs and denying it--all well documented events, even. But he still roots for her at some level. I just can't see why he's starstruck with such a through and through piece of trash. It's my one big disappointment with him.

I think that most media have their "favourites" - isn't Page6 her "mouth-piece" who she feeds stuff to?

Harvey is scum, the Hilton's now own him and PerezHilton. I like Dlisted for the simple reason that they don't kiss any Parisite ass. If I had my own gossip site I would rip banned and Nicole Richie to shreds

Is it wrong that I fucking loathe the thought of Banned? I mean, how could you NOT find her utterly despicable and disgusting? What is wrong with someone to be a "fan" of hers? I am not that sane, but I'm also not that crazy. Totally perplexing and sad.

I don't think they really own PerezHilton. They both use eachother.

He was pretty big before meeting her, but since then a lot of doors have opened for him, sad but true. If those photo agencies end up winning their lawsuit, Paris will drop him STAT.
