Britney Spears files restraining order against mom based on pain meds abuse.

X17 XCLUSIVE - BRITNEY SET TO FILE FOR RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST HER MOM

An X17 source confirms that Britney is set to file papers for a restraining order against her mother Lynne, in an attempt to keep her mom away from her two sons. Our source tells us that the paperwork is completed and that Britney is claiming her mother is abusing prescription pain medication and that she should be kept away from Sean and Jayden. The papers are supposed to be filed today or tomorrow.

Oh, and the supposed "reconciliation" between mom and daughter a couple weeks back, word is, Britney wasn't expecting that visit from her mom and sister and that she was not happy with the surprise.

She feels it gives time to her ex and her mom to plot against her, as she claims they did earlier this year to force her in to rehab. The restraining order is obviously a last-ditch attempt to get full custody of her kids, which Britney so desperately wants.

This sounds like classic drug-induced paranoia. Taking out a restraining order against Lynne would not be a smart move. I have the feeling Lynne would fight back, and because I think that Lynne truly does feel that Britney is a danger to those kids, I don't think she'd hold anything back. Lynne seems to me like someone that you wouldn't want to cross. Whatever "dirt" Britney thinks she's being so clever by exposing to publicly humiliate Lynne and keep her away from the kids, I can guarantee that Lynne has ten times as much, ten times worse, on Britney. And if I were Britney, I wouldn't be working the "she's a drug abuser so she shouldn't be around children" angle. That's going to come back to bite her in the ass. Bigtime.

How would a restraining order against her mother help in any way to get full custody?

In a way, I feel sorry for Lynne. If this is true, it's not something you could easily forgive. But she created the monster...

I don't think she really wants full custody. She'd have to actually look after them then and she hasn't exactly shown much interest in that.

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that maybe Twitney's mother told to stop acting like an irresponsible twat and grow up and now Twitney's mad at her. We all know the truth can hurt sometimes.

I think this is exactly it. It's all back to her not wanting to be told what to do and not listening to reason.

And she's probably right about the whole Kevin and Lynne "plotting" against her. Except they're plotting to help her get her life back on track, which means kicking the drugs and alcohol, which Britney does not want to do. What was something I read about her which summed her stupidity up perfectly: "If you want her to go left, she'll go right just to spite you." It's like she's speeding out of control on the road of life, and her mom is telling her to slow down, stay on the road. So Britney speeds up and deliberately runs off the road into a tree. Yeah, that will show them.

I guess it's about control. Obviously she feels she's had none all her life and now in her mind, she'll prove she's in control by doing the exact opposite of what people tell her. But she never stops to think that her defiant actions are to her detriment and she's really just working against herself. With the custody of her kids at stake, that's sheer madness and stupidity.

^^Yes and I can kind of understand it. Lynne had her as a performing monkey from a very young age. She never really had too much of a normal childhood. But she's too stupid to see that she's cutting off her nose to spite her face.

Sadly, KFed is who I would award the kids too. Lynne raised Britney. She is trying to push the little sister to stardom too. If given these boys, I can see her becoming an organ grinder and dressing them in matching suits.

Britney was giving indications she was not quite right from the beginning. If someone is making eyes at their blood relative in a video, there are issues. No other guy was available? There are only 3 billion laying around.
