Pale Amy Winehouse chases instant tan

She's super skinny, smokes and is famous for her drinking, but now Amy Winehouse is pursuing a healthier look - with a tan.

The tattoo covered Rehab singer, who has recently spent time in Los Angeles, was spotted visiting a tanning salon in London's Camden in a bid to lose her trademark pale complexition.

Days earlier, the star took home a gong for her hit Rehab, which was named song of the year at the Mojo awards.

Prior to this visit, the singer has also been spotted visiting tanning salons in LA

On stage, she said: "I'm pretty s**t at all this. Thank you, it's a real honour and I'm going to go and get drunk now."

Winehouse attended the awards with her new husband Blake Fielder-Civil, and despite the odd public bust up, Winehouse says: "We've never been happier."

Pale Amy needs to chase a bath and a meal. I'm getting tired of her "tortured, drunk soul" gimmick. Everything she does has to be related back to her drinking, and it's obviously not that great for her because it affects her performances. There was something on the television the other day here in England and for the life of me i couldn't understand what the girl was singing, and I know some of her songs!! I'll give you an example from the Charlotte Church show

the worse thing is she used to be good when her first album came out, to be honest with you i'm not particularly fond of her stuff from "Back to Black", it's a bit over-rated, especially compared to "Frank"
