She's so vein: the very veiny hand of Madonna

Popeye-like singer Madonna looks as if she could crush more than a grape with her veiny forearms.

The muscly yoga devotee revealed her ultra-veiny hands, and rippling biceps - a result of her intense daily three-hour workouts - as she left her gym in London.

Clutching an assortment of mobile phones, and wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt, the Queen of Pop's hands appeared gnarly, and claw-like, and were criss-crossed by numerous bulging veins.

At 48, there's no doubt the mother-of-two is in enviable shape, as seen in the video for hit song 'Hung Up' in which she appeared in a skimpy leotard that would be spurned by women half her age.

But it seems her hardcore attitude to exercise is having a somewhat negative effect on other areas of her body.

Just like actress Angelina Jolie whose appearance last week raised similar fears, it seems Madonna's pulsing prominent veins are a tell-tale sign of over-exercising.

Trainer Mark Munroe said: "Such increased vascularity is often the result of over-exercising, particularly weight-bearing or resistance work".
The singer had a meeting in London with environmental campaigner Al Gore, who is recruiting top-name stars to sign up for the Live Earth concert in July. Madonna has agreed to close the concert which will be staged at Wembley.

Madonna excercise 'til she got no bodyfat and she still got boobs. Angelina the saint starve herself skinny in the name of hungry children in Africa and she still got boobs. Hmmm..... How is that possible, I wonder...

Ugh, that was a sight I did not need to see so early in the morning. Madonna's arms are not just due to her fanatical and pointless over exercising. That definition would need to be enhanced by chemical means. What's the point? She's losing her femininity and increasing her masculinity much faster than she needs to. And for what? A remake of the Incredible Hulk?

Straight after a work out of course she's going to be "pumped".
But if she works out for 3 hours a day everyday, she'd be permanently pumped.
It might make her look fit but I really don't think this amount of exercise could be good for her heart. Your supposed to have a rest day every 2nd day.

I notice how Madonna's veins don't get much criticism around these parts and I am pretty sure it is because if they say anything negative about Mads, it will also be classed as a *cut up* against Jolie. Oh and we can't have that can we?
