Move over Sarah Jessica Parker. Fashion maven Victoria Beckham will be at Saks Fifth Avenue in Manhattan tomorrow promoting her new label dVb.
The new high-end collection includes denim pants, skirts, shorts and sunglasses. Beckham's launch comes less than a week after actress Sarah Jessica Parker debuted her chic-for-cheap label Bitten.
Beckham's brand, however, is not for frugal fashionistas. Her glasses, which she's been seen in recently, have also been worn by Katie Holmes and Jennifer Lopez (they sell for $270). Her jeans cost anywhere from $200 to $300.
No wonder they called her Posh Spice.
Fashion has been a huge passion for Beckham, who is married to hunky soccer great David Beckham. Four years ago, she designed a line with Rock & Republic called VB Rocks and produced handbags and jewelry for Japanese store Samantha Thavasa. She also has a fragrance, "Intimately Beckham." She will arrive at Saks tomorrow at 5 p.m. and will stay an hour to sign autographs.

I am all for buying good quality clothing but $200-$300 for a pair of jeans is just stupid.

I don't think the people who can afford to spend $200 on jeans are going to buy her clothing brand. They are going to go for much more established designers.

I like Rock and Republic jeans .. I have a pair or 2 .. they fit great and are super cute .. but .. u can only have so many
