Has Hillary recruited Botox to her campaign?

When you are running for president, your appearance is scrutinised almost as closely as your policies.

So when Hillary Clinton appeared in a television debate looking years younger tongues were soon wagging.

Observers said the 60-year-old appeared youthful and fresh-faced, prompting speculation that she has had Botox injections. Scroll down for more ...

Her aides did little to play down the suggestion and refused to confirm or deny the claims.

Prior to the TV debate, wrinkle lines could clearly be seen around Mrs Clinton's eyes and on her forehead.

But for the encounter in New Hampshire she appeared almost wrinkle-free.

Margery Egan, who covered the debate for the Boston Herald, told readers that Mrs Clinton had taken on a "flawless, almost dewy appearance".

"The instant Hillary appeared, the woman behind me whispered 'Oh look at Hillary. She's had work done'," the columnist wrote.

Last year John Spencer, who Mrs Clinton beat in the New York senate race, claimed she had had "millions of dollars of plastic surgery".
The wife of former president Bill is favourite for the Democratic nomination.

Her main rival, Illinois senator Barack Obama, is 15 years her junior.

Botox, which is derived from a lethal poison, can give women a smoother look.

Injected into problem areas, it works by paralysing the surrounding muscles.
In 2004, Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry was accused of using Botox to remove wrinkles.

I dunno if it's botox or not, but just between those photos is a HUGE difference of lighting.

Honestly, I think the majority of politicians these days are using botox.

Whatever she's done (and I think it may be a little more than botox), she looks great. The prospect of having the Clintons back in the White House and Bushes back in TX is more excitement than I can bear on a Monday morning.

^^She looks great. The thought of a woman as the president of the only remaining Super power, is making me smile.

So with a bit of luck in 18 months time Australia will have a deputy (vice) woman Prime Minister and America a woman president. I will drink to that.

I even cried when Margaret Thatcher became the English Prime Minister.

Uh YEA. Her husband screwed an intern for chrissakes. Ok, so it was Monica Lewinsky.. hardly anything for her to lose THAT MUCH sleep over, but this woman has probably been getting little nips and tucks for years.

Maybe.
Even in the side view "after" pic, you can still see lines and wrinkles and puffiness around her eyes. It could be a really great makeup job and good lighting. If she is having it done, she is doing it sensibly and isn't looking uber fake, something I like to call the Hunter Tylo effect.

The thing about Hilary is she is so incredibly intelligent. She just is. I think she could be a truly great president unless the political machine that tied Bill's hands the last few years of his presidency went after her as well. However, she is smart enough, I believe, to not give them the ammo he gave them.

My friends call me crazy, but Hillary is my straight girl crush! I would change teams for her! Her intelligence, presence and personality coupled with her sophisticated look makes her irresistable to me! Holla! Hillary is a Hottie!
