Lynne Spears set to talk about daughter Britney Spears on The View

Britney's mama, Lynne Spears, will be on The View on Wednesday, June 6th. It is rumored that Britney has cut off all ties with her family, including her mom. Perhaps this will be a (very public) peace treaty?

Why does her mother feel the need to go public? She should stay out of it and advice Britney in private. If she doesn't want to listen, then too bad.
These stage parents are usually the reason why their kids are so screwed up to begin with. It's all about $$$.

Britney seems to be blaming everyone. But i remember a few years ago, someone in the biz said that Lynne Spears has always put the pressure on Britney to be a huge star- and shes always treated her like a commodity. I look at Britney and see a little girl who never grew up.

On a side note; britney looks pretty in the photo. I know its old. That was back when i was a fan.

I don't feel sorry for Lynn at all. This woman was a very big part of Britney's self destruction and it's coming back to haunt her. Now she wants us all to feel sorry for her. Ain't happenin'.

Lynn pushed Britney's career (at the expense of her own marriage) from the time she was a child. She brought her to Hollywood so that she could live vicariously through her and sat idly by as Britney hung with the wrong crowd and started her various addictions. Then she remained silent while Britney hooked up with K-Fed. Now that that's over, she's taken care of her two kids instead of showing any tough love and making Britney a responsible parent. She's an enabler and I hope she's feeling completely left out and rotten.

When mothers sell their kids. Hello! a mother is supposed to be there for her kids and be a confidante. I am so glad I did not get stuck with Dina or Lynne.
