Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson & Wife Split Up

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and wife Dany Garcia Johnson have separated, they have announced in a statement to PEOPLE.

"While certain aspects of our relationship have changed, we are both vitally important to each other's lives," their statement reads. "We will continue to advance and manage our business interests, our philanthropic efforts and most importantly the raising of our child together, as a loving team. We've been fortunate enough to spend the last 17 years together as a couple and look forward to spending the rest our lives together as best friends and business partners."

Johnson, who started out as a pro wrestler for the WWE before jumping into movies, married Dany, now the CEO of a wealth management firm, in 1997. They have a 5-year-old daughter, Simone Alexander.

Wooohoooo!!! The Rock is back on the market!! Where the hell do I find this soon to be single man?!??!?!?!

On the serious side though, their statement was very well put and I'm sure they have all intentions to remain 'friends' for their daughter's sake. Yeah, they'll stay friends forever...till one of them finds another love interest or remarries and then that'll change everything. Dany will try and take him for all she can.

^ He is gorgeous. Almost too gorgeous. He must have temptation beyond belief. How could any woman hold on to a man that good looking? It's almost a hopeless case--rich, famous, gorgeous, charismatic and he appears to be a really cool guy with a great personality. He must be a woman magnet. It must take a strong woman to be married to a man like him.

I wonder why they're breaking up....hmmmm...

He's made a few movies here in Vancouver and he was openly gay -- it's no big secret. A man that good looking -- straight. Too good to be true.

I know one in the wrestling world who likes girls. So there is at least one straight (or at least bi) wrestler in the industry.

Wow - this is one marriage I thought for sure would last a lifetime. I'm really surprised they've split up. They truly were your regular, normal, average couple.

There is no possible way this man is gay....no way. I've followed him for many years and would have absolutely no problem saying he was if he was. He's just not.

i told my mom that the rock was getting a divorce, and she said "maybe because he's going to marry me?" And then laughed and talked about how good looking he is.

The Rock makes women find their mojo and want to work it again....
