Kylie the singleton’s quiet birthday

Faced with the bleak prospect of spending the first birthday since her split from Olivier Martinez without a male companion, Kylie Minogue had no hesitation in calling up little sister Dannii to keep her company.

Both were smiling broadly as they headed to the Rex Cinema in Soho together, with Kylie appearing to have moved on from the end of her four year relationship as she celebrated her 39th birthday.

The sister's left Kylie's London apartment in high spirits

Earlier in the day Kylie’s flat in Chelsea was inundated with presents and cards from friends and fans.

Last week the Australian singer and Sharon Stone sang a duet that may well go down as the most expensive in history.

Birthday girl Kylie kept celebrations low key

Kylie agreed to sing two songs with Stone providing the backing after an audience in Cannes agreed to donate £200,000 a tune to an Aids charity.

No doubt Dannii did not charge as much to sing "Happy Birthday" to her sister last night.

They are both old slappers anyway, so it doesnt matter.lol
