Paris gets a hobby in time for jail
Soon-to-be jailbird Paris Hilton has taken up a new hobby in preparation for her 23-day sentence for driving with a suspended license.
The 26-year old heiress spent the afternoon at arts and crafts shop Color Me Mine painting a range of pottery including a ceramic teddy, no doubt in an effort to take her mind off her impending lockdown.

Joined by supportive sister Nicky, Paris, who is due to start her sentence at in Los Angele's Century Regional Detention Centre on June 5, concentrated keenly as she painted the big bear.
The heiress, who is known for her love of partying, has tried a number of different activities in the run-up to the start of her jail term, which was originally set at 45 days, but slashed by half due to 'good behaviour'.

Hilton, who is said to be 'traumatised' at the prospect of spending time in jail, has attended church, has taken up cycling, and enjoyed the inevitable shopping trip, all in an effort to take her mind off her looming incarceration.

In part of a document given to an LA court in relation to a £5 million slander and libel suit against Hilton by actress Zeta Graff, her psychiatrist Dr. Charles Sophy wrote: "She is emotionally distraught and traumatised as a consequence of the findings at the May 4 hearing, the jail sentence imposed upon her by the judge, and her fear of incarceration."
Writer David Patrick Columbia, said to be a close friend of the Hilton family, is worried being locked up will ruin the 26-year-old star's career.
He said: "Drunk-driving is a serious crime. People die from it. Jail is a whole other ball game from the soap opera we've enjoyed watching up until now. I think we could be witnessing the end of Paris Hilton."
However, others are convinced the notoriety she's gained from being locked up will only add to her 'fame'.
A source said: "It's going to make her more famous than ever. In jail, she's going to get enviably skinny, and without any make-up or products her hair and skin will finally be able to breathe, so they'll look amazing, too." Last month prior to sentencing, Paris was photographed allegedly smoking a joint while backstage at last month's Coachella music festival, a week before her sentence hearing.
