Mel B is one fast mover. Just weeks after hooking up with a new man, Hollywood producer Stephen Belafonte, she's been spotted househunting with him in LA.


The former Spice Girl tried her best to avoid photographers as she spent a few hours looking at homes in the Beverly Hills area - down the road from former bandmate Victoria Beckham.

Mel, aka Scary Spice, looked fab in a full-length floral dress and big shades, while her new man Stephen cradled her eight-week-old daughter Angel Iris in his arms.
The singer, 32 today, is set to earn over £1million from a Spice Girls reunion tour later this year and sources say this money will go towards building a new life in LA - and it looks like Stephen is well and truly part of her plans.
Mel is currently embroiled in a bitter paternity battle with Eddie Murphy over Angel Iris. The Beverly Hills Cop star is denying the baby is his but refuses to take a paternity test to prove it.
Mel is determined to prove he is the father and is willing to take him to court to show the world.
Eddie has yet to even set eyes on the tiny tot. But none of this seems to have deterred Stephen - who produced the cult movie Thank You For Smoking - as he was all smiles with his new lady love.
Just two weeks ago, Mel was gushing about her new man, saying: "I'm very happy. Stephen is great fun and he satisfies me. The less said about the Beverly Hills C**k the better."
The couple have been hitting all of the top LA clubs in the past few weeks - making sure everyone knows they're the new hot couple in town.
A source said: "Mel and Stephen are getting to know each other very quickly, they clicked immediately and Mel thinks they have a strong connection.
"She's still upset and angry over the Eddie situation but she's not going to let that stop her getting on with her life.
"Mel believes when you meet someone special you should grab onto it with both hands and do everything you can to make it work and that's what she's doing now with Stephen.
"He's also being very supportive through the paternity battle." Let's hope this one's a keeper. <

In reading the first post and all the responses, for some reason Heidi Klum came to mind. Didn't she hook-up with Seal when she was pregnant? I would say she didn't wait for the hormones to go away either, and I haven't read much criticism of her for doing it; on the contrary, most people seem to like her*, and admire Seal for taking on the daughter as his.

*BTW, I do happen to like Heidi Klum...

I think the difference is that Scary Melanie has been chasing Eddie all over creation, both when she was pregnant and after, trying to get him to own up to being her baby daddy, and now she seems to have forgotten that and moved on to the next sucker.

Heidi and Seal were a different situation. They met while she was pregnant with a baby that wasn't his, hit it off, and stayed together. And I do give Seal credit, because I don't know if I would have done the same thing.

there is another thread on herew herea girl is talking about not fitting the standard of pretty and having a hard time meeting men. hogwash i say. and here is a perfect example. i can't see anything too attractive about this cow. she also looks quite butch. at the same time she seems to have no trouble bagging the dudes so she's got something going on. if scary can, so can you.
